As we approach the end of the First semester, mu Spanish 2 Students are busy finishing up the last Unit
During this semester they have covered the following materials:
Greetings, farewells, introducing each other, introducing others, describing themselves and
describing others, definite/ indefinite nouns and adjectives; review of subject pronouns and agreement of. They have also learned noun and adjective gender and number and how both must agree with each other. Adding to that, they have become aware of the difference between regular and irregular verbs, and the tenses they need when speaking using these verbs such as : present tense, preterite tense, and using ir plus -a plus infinitive to tell what they are going to do.
The following verb have also been part of the learning: ser, estar, tener, gustar, ir, dar, hacer, -ar ending regular verbs, -er and -ir ending of regular verbs, stem changing verbs and vocabulary dealing with going on a trip, travel preparations, things to do at the airport ,ask for information, what you did on vacation and speaking and talking about the past.
Spanish 2 students will take a written test as their mid-term and review will begin Friday the 14th and Monday the 17th.
When we come back January 7th, we will be ready to begin unit 3, lesson 1 and 2 with a and emphasis on more speaking assignments. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
